Early Head Start Child Development Centers,
Home Base, and Private Provider Programs

The Center Based program option is specifically designed for children prenatal to three years old. Children participate in a stimulating and challenging educational environment where they are supported and challenged by credentialed and trained educators. We offer full-day, half-day, or fee base programs in Placer and Nevada Counties. We believe that children are active learners and our balanced curriculum provides experiences for children in social-emotional development, physical development, language and literacy development, science, and the arts.

Home Base option: Teachers visit the families’ home and engage both children and parents in developmentally appropriate activities to stimulate children in their growth and development. The home visits are opportunities for parents to enhance their children’s educational experience. Children enrolled in a Home Base program also have the opportunity to socialize with their peers in a classroom setting twice a month.
KidZKount recognizes the importance of caring for the “whole child.” Through funding from the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), we provide nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks to all children enrolled in our center based program and those children participating in socialization experiences.
