Scholarship Information:
Sierra College Scholarships available. PCAC annually supports two scholarships for returning students who attend Sierra College. The Elrita Arden Memorial for $300 and the Sam Strothers, Jr. Memorial for $250 are in memory of two former Chairpersons of PCAC. Information and applications for these scholarships are available at the Sierra College Financial Aid Office in Rocklin, CA. Celebrating Families
|
Celebrating Families has been part of our agency since 1992 as part of a National Head Start program to educate parents on the dangers of drug abuse, and provide tools to strengthen the family.
Annually over 100 families complete the 8-week program in both Nevada and Placer Counties. Also, Celebrating Families generates in-kind contributions.
We focus on family self esteem while having fun!
There are door prizes, snacks and socializing with other parents and staff. Support groups have been started that continue well beyond the 8 weeks. Many attendees have eliminated poor health habits as a result of the education provided.
